What Will The Company of The Future Look Like?

Public Limited Companies are becoming narrow and short-term focused because whenever they want to set long-term goals, their shares take a hit.

When we think about how the company of the future will look like, we can think about alternative ownership models (such as private equity, family, and cooperative), different ways of organizing, and different approaches to employment. For example, the number of freelancers and small companies selling services to larger companies will increase going forward.

George Bernard Shaw said that “the reasonable man adapts himself to the world: the unreasonable one persists in trying to adapt the world to himself. Therefore all progress depends on the unreasonable man.”

Therefore, we need more unreasonable people and organizations that can challenge the traditional way that work is done to create the company of the future.
